Joke for Week One

My three-year-old son came out of the bathroom smiling. “I brushed my teeth”, he said, “and then I brushed Sally’s teeth.” Sally is our elderly yellow Labrador retriever (dog). Horrified, I tried to explain to Justin that it wasn’t a good idea for him to brush Sally’s teeth, and that we’d have to go into town and buy him a new toothbrush.A few days later, as we were both brushing our teeth, Justin asked, “ Mommy, why did I have to get a new toothbrush?”“Remember” I said patiently, “you used your toothbrush to brush Sally’s teeth, so we went and go you a brand-new one.”Justin thought about this before replying: “but Mommy, I didn’t use my toothbrush on Sally’s teeth. I used yours.”

Hi and Welcome to 030

Let me tell you a bit about myself. My name is Rita. I have been teaching ESL for quite a long time - 17 years. I love teaching here at the U of R. My teaching philosophy is "work hard, do your best and have fun." What is your learning philosophy?

I got married in April 2006. Norm, my husband, has two sons, Isaac and Zach, so that makes me a step-mom. Norm is a civil engineer. Isacc is 12 years old and loves computer games. Zach is 19 and is studying media communications at college.I got a dog about a year ago. His name is Fritz. He is a cockapoo - part Cocker Spaniel and part Poodle. He is very cute and very naughty. If you know anything about training dogs, please let me know. I need all the help I can get.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO, why don't you post a message and tell a little about yourself.

Rita
